A quick hike at Paradise, Mt Rainier National Park, does the body good. I only had a short time at Mt Rainier, the light wasn't great, but the hike was nice, the location beautiful and I was even greeted by a young velvet horned buck. This is one of my favorite places to hike, there are so many locations and in late July to early August the flowers can be astounding, see my Mt Rainier gallery's here and here.
I always carry my 70-200 f/4 IS L for situations like this, I'm sitting there shooting the Mountain, being quiet and I turn around and there is this White Tail Deer about 20 yards away browsing on the spring greenery, a quick lens change and a few shots fired and I turn back to my landscape work.
