One place I love to shoot, no luck with clouds on this trip, but the light always seems to be good. I based myself out of Lone Pine for a few days over the holidays and this was a few minuets from the hotel room. After the morning shoot it was a 1 1/2 hour drive to death valley, so I did a couple of scouting trips in to Death Valley.
A great place to take your time and see the Eastern Sierra, Ski Mammoth Lakes, visit Death Valley and many other sites for outdoor recreation and or photography.
