Winter in Yosemite

I now have a favorite season in Yosemite, winter! Why? less crowds, clear air and snow. Masses of tourists in the warm months make it almost unbearable, lack of clouds and hazy air make it unfavorable for photography.

Snow and clouds in the winter make for great black and white photography, Yosemite seems to want to be rendered in black and white, maybe that's just me remembering all the Ansel Adams photos from Yosemite, but I do prefer black and white photography here. Another thing about winter is the lower angle of the light and the clear air.
