The Quiraing

The Isle of Skye, a beautiful Island in the Inner Hebrides of the coast of western Scotland, a place Ive been wanting to visit for a few years now, since I heard of its beauty. I had an opportunity to spend a few days in the Leabank B and B on the north end of Skye after a business trip to Cambridge.
Skye is about weather, crofting and rugged landscapes and livestock, especially sheep, which far outnumber the residence of this beautiful island. Most of my landscapes have sheep in them, you may not notice the little white dots, but they are there. The long days of summer (5am to 10pm) make for a lot of exploring. The Quiraing which runs most of the length of Trotternish has a hike that goes the full length and is not to be missed if you visit.
Its a very large Island that would take weeks to explore, The Black and White Cuillin, which lie to the SW portion of the island are vast in themselves, large peak's, snow covered in winter and barren and rocky the rest of the year.

Its about small villages and friendly people
Its as green as Ireland to the SW, but much more rugged, whiskey distillery's dot the island, but a good pint of Bitter can be tossed back in the local pubs and good pub food can be found in every village.
