When doing research on the Grand Canyon, one thing I noticed was the shots where about the canyon and not so much about the whole experience. The first thing you notice when getting there is, it is almost completely surrounded by trees. Some shots of canyon walls are great, but remember there is a lot more to an area that its major attraction. Hiking the rim and getting as much foreground as I could without completely obscuring the canyon was fun. There are so many opportunities for compositions at the Grand Canyon.

I look forward to my next trip to the North Rim.
